Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (230 kms/6-7hrs)

Arrival Delhi Railway Station / Airport / Hotel, Meet & Assist further drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your Hotel. Visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in evening. Back to your hotel, Night halt.

Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva’s hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva’s locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. In the traditional of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder. It is doorway to the sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy ranges of the central Himalayas. The ‘Aarti’ worship of the Ganga after sunset and the floating ‘dia’ (lamp) is a moving ritual.

Day 02: Haridwar

After breakfast visit local sight seeing including Mansa Devi temple, Chandi Devi, Daksh Temple, Mercury Shivling, Bharat Mata Mandir & others. Back to your hotel for diunner & night halt.

Har-Ki-Pauri: Har-Ki-Pauri, the sacred ghat was constructed by King Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhartrihari. The golden reflection of floral diyas in the river Ganges is the most enchanting sight in the twilight during the Ganga aarti ceremony at the ghat.
Chandidevi temple: Locatedd atop Neel Parvat, Chandidevi temple is one of the most ancient temples of north India. This is a sldhpeeth. The main deity is said to have been installed in the 8th century by Adishankaracharya. According to the legends, in ancient times, demon kings Shumb and Nishumb had captured the kingdom of Lord Indra and thrown out gods from heaven. After intense prayers by the gods, incarnation of power and strength, Chandidevi appeared from the body cells of Goddess Parvati and killed Shumb and Nishumb. There after Chandidevi is said to have rested for a while at the temple location. 200 mtrs away from the Maa Chandidevi temple, the Temple of Anjanidevi, mother of God Ha-numan is located.

Maa Chandidevi has been fulfilling wishes of its devotees for thousand of years. For the comfortable ‘darshan’ of Maa Chandidevi Sidhpeeth Maa Chandidevi Udan Khotala operational since 1997 at Najibabad Road in Hardwar and is at a distance of only 4 km from the bus stand and Railway Station. By Udan Khotala it takes apporximately 5 minutes to reach the temple at the Hill top whereas the steep climb takes more than an hour. For the comfort of pilgrims amenities like Pure cold drinking water, Toilets, Refreshment Counters, Landscaped gardens, First aid facilities, Resting areas, Car parking, CCTV etc. are available.

Mansa Devi Temple: MAA Mansadevi Hardwar Temple is one of the most important temples of the North India and is the most important destination along with Har Ki Pauri in Hardwar. Goddess Mansadevi is the daughter of Saint Kashyap. She was born from his mind and therefore become famous by the name ‘Mansadevi’. ‘Mansa’ also means wishes. Mansadevi therefore is known as the wish fulfilling goddess. Devotees visiting the temple tie threads on a sacred tree near the temple seeking blessings of the goddess for fullfillment of their wishes. They return to untie a thread from the same free once their wishes are fulfilled.

Located on top of the Shivalik hills, Mansadevi temple is one of the most ancient and Famous Sidhpeeths (holy places were one’s wishes gets fulfilled). In the temple one idol of the goddess has three faces and five arms while the other has eight arms.

For the comfortable ‘darshan’ of Maa Mansadevi, Maa Mansadevi Udan Khatota operational since 1981 and is situated on the upper road in Hardwar at a distance of 2 Kms from the Bustand and Railway Station. By Udan Khatola it takes apporximately 4 minutes to reach the temple at the Hill top while the stee~ttim~by steps takes about 45 minutes.

Daksha Temple:Four kms from Haridwar is a town called Kankhal. Mythology says that the king of this place King Daksha Prajapati performed a yagya. His daughter, Sati was married to Lord Shiva. But Daksha was not happy with this marriage and did not invite Shiva-Sati in the Yagya.

But Sati came and was insulted by her father. She could not take the insult and burnt herself in the yagya kund. On hearing this the followers of Shiva killed Daksha. But later Mahadeo (Shiva) brought Daksha to life. The Daksha temple is an attribute to this legend. This place is one of the five sacred places in Haridwar

Day 03: Haridwar – Mussoorie (105kms/3hr)

Drive to Mussoorie via Dehradun. Enroute visit Shiv Mandir & Mussoorie lake. Check in at Hotel. Later in the evening visit Mall Road, Gun Hills & others. Afternoon drive to Kempty fall & on return visit Company Garden. Back to your hotel for dinner & night stay.
Mussoorie is a fascinating Hill Resort commanding a wonderful view of the extensive Himalayan range and at night the gilliering views of Doon Valley. It is pleasant in summer (April to June) and clouding in (July to Aug.) and cool and serene in autumn (Sept. to Nov.) and winter months of Dec. to Feb. is severely bitty cold a time of snow fall, Mussoorie is called “Queen Of Hills” today it is one of the most popular summer destination in the northen hills.

Towering over the Doon valley is the Queen of Hill Stations, Mussoorie. Mountain mist, old architecture, the riot of flowers transport one to an era of romance from long, long ago. Commanding a wonderful view of extensive Himalayan snow ranges to the north-east, and glittering views of the Doon Valley and Haridwar to the south, the town presents a fairyland atmosphere. There are also some interesting walks around Mussoorie and other attractions here are the Ropeway ride to Gun Hill – the second largest peak here; Kempty Falls – a pretty waterfall located in a beautiful valley and surrounded by high mountains

Day 04: Mussoorie

After breakfast, take an excursion, 33 kms away, to Dhanaulti and the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet / 2940 meters. Enchanting view of conifer covered hill slopes, deep valleys and snow capped mountains leave an indelible impression on one’s mind. Back to your hotel. Rest day free for your own activities.

Day 05 Mussoorie – Rishikesh

(105 kms /3hrs)

Leave Mussoorie. drive to Rishikesh, the ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh.
Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram & Parmarth Ashram for evening Ganga Aarti.. Back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Rishikesh – Hardwar – Delhi (250kms/7-8hr)


Morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport. Tour Terminate.
