Most hotels are built as standalone properties, then look for a location. Iris Sarovar Portico did it the other way around. Sarovar Hotels developed this one in collaboration with Trehan Iris specifically to sit inside the Iris Broadway complex in Sector 85, Gurugram, so the hotel opens directly into the mall's commercial and retail environment rather than sitting apart from it. It opened in 2025 as Sarovar's 15th property across Delhi-NCR, and with 79 rooms and suites, it's built at a scale meant for genuine attention to detail rather than volume.

A Rooftop Built for the Evening

The hotel's rooftop is where its two strongest features sit side by side: a rooftop swimming pool and Terrace Grill, a rooftop dining venue serving gourmet food and cocktails with panoramic views over the city. It's an unusual pairing for a hotel this size, and it gives guests a reason to stay on-property in the evening rather than heading elsewhere for dinner. Flavours, the all-day dining restaurant, covers Indian, international and regional cuisine for the rest of the day.

Comfortable, Compact Rooms

Rooms here run efficient rather than sprawling, with Deluxe rooms around 28 square metres, sleeping up to three guests with a double bed or two twin beds, each with a balcony, soundproofing, a mini-fridge, and blackout curtains for a proper night's sleep. Junior Suites step up slightly, some with pool views directly from the room. Accessibility has clearly been considered too, with wheelchair-accessible rooms, a pool, fitness centre and restaurant, plus a stair-free path to the entrance.

Meetings, Weddings and Everything In Between

The hotel's banqueting and conference facilities can accommodate up to 120 guests, giving it enough flexibility for corporate events, intimate weddings and private celebrations without needing a separate venue elsewhere in the city.

Sector 85's Practical Location

Iris Sarovar Portico sits close to Tata Consultancy Services, roughly 6-9 km away depending on the exact route, and within reach of Medanta (about 15 km) and Artemis Hospital (about 17-18 km), making it workable for both corporate and medical visitors. Golf Course Road is roughly 18-19 km away, and Indira Gandhi International Airport is about 46-48 minutes by road, so while it's on the further edge of Gurugram's main hotel clusters, it remains connected to the city's key business and healthcare destinations.
