When clients ask us for something genuinely different from a standard five-star hotel near Delhi, this is usually where we point them. ITC Grand Bharat was India's first all-suite luxury retreat when it launched, meaning there isn't a single standard room on the entire 300-acre property, only suites and villas, 104 of them, set against the Aravalli hills roughly 38 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport. It's also LEED Platinum and LEED Zero Water certified, a genuinely rare combination for a property built at this scale.
What makes it India's only property of its kind. South Asia's only 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course sits on the estate, laid out specifically to work with the Aravalli terrain rather than flattening it. We book this for clients who golf seriously, not casually, since the course is designed to a championship standard most Delhi-adjacent properties simply don't attempt.
Four villas, four dynasties. The property's four Presidential Villas are each designed around a different chapter of Indian history: Maurya, Mughal, Maratha, and Chola. Every villa has two bedrooms, a private living and dining room, its own kitchen, and round-the-clock service staff. We book these specifically for clients hosting a small, high-privacy family celebration rather than a large wedding, since the villas function almost as standalone residences on the estate.
The suites, and what "all-suite" actually means here. The 100 Deluxe Suites come with a dedicated Retreat Host available 24/7, separate living, bedroom and bathroom spaces divided by sliding doors, and either a private lap pool off the patio or a terrace with estate views. A step up, the Luxury Suite with Semi-Private Pool adds a sunlit private deck. We generally book these over the villas for couples or smaller groups who want the all-suite experience without needing an entire residence.
Architecture built as a tribute, not a theme. The design draws directly from specific Indian landmarks rather than a generic "palace" aesthetic: the stepped wells of Adalaj in Gujarat, the Nagara-style Mukhteshwara temples of Odisha, Baroda's royal palace, and the ghats of Varanasi. It's a detail that tends to matter most to clients who've already done a standard Rajasthan palace hotel and want something architecturally distinct rather than a repeat of the same aesthetic.
Weddings and events at scale. The property has close to 27,000 sq ft of indoor event space and over 30,000 sq ft of outdoor venues, including the Banyan Pavilion and Ceremonial Courtyard, with the Grand Ballroom holding up to 300 guests for a reception. We book this for clients planning a destination wedding specifically, given both the scale of the venues and the privacy the estate's size affords.

There are no standard hotel rooms on the property at all — every accommodation, from the 100 Deluxe Suites to the four Presidential Villas, is suite or villa-format, each with separate living and sleeping areas.
About 38 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, roughly 45 minutes by road depending on traffic, and it sits on NH-8 near Manesar in Gurugram.
Access policies can vary, so we confirm current golf access and tee-time availability directly with the property when booking on your behalf.
Yes, it's one of the properties we book most often for exactly that. With close to 27,000 sq ft of indoor space and 30,000+ sq ft of outdoor venues, including a Grand Ballroom holding up to 300 guests, it comfortably handles a large wedding while still offering private villa accommodation for close family.
The Deluxe Suites are single-unit accommodations with a private living/bedroom/bathroom layout and, in some cases, a semi-private pool. The Presidential Villas are considerably larger, two-bedroom residences with their own kitchen, dining room and dedicated staff, better suited to families or small groups wanting complete privacy.
