Orchha Excursion – Historical Monuments & Temples
Activities: Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for a day trip to Orchha, located 15 km from Jhansi. On arrival, explore: Orchha Fort Complex: Jehangir Mahal – A beautiful blend of Mughal and Bundela architecture, with grand courtyards and stunning views. Raj Mahal – The royal palace of Orchha's Bundela rulers. Rai Praveen Mahal – Dedicated to Rai Praveen, a courtesan who became famous for her beauty and poetry. Chaturbhuj Temple – Known for its towering structure and impressive architecture, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Laxminarayan Temple – A serene temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Lunch at a local restaurant in Orchha. Afternoon visit to: Betwa River – Enjoy a peaceful boat ride (optional) or a walk along the river banks. Activities: Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to: Maharaja Gangadhar Rao Ki Chhatri – A beautiful cenotaph built in memory of the last ruler of Jhansi, Maharaja Gangadhar Rao. St. Jude's Church – One of the oldest churches in the region, a reminder of colonial influence. Moti Mahal – A small, historical palace once used for royal gatherings. Leisure time for shopping in Jhansi Market for local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Check-out and transfer to the Jhansi Railway Station/Airport for onward journey. Meals Included: Breakfast
