Best Time to Travel

October through March is the reliable window for this entire route. Delhi and Hampi both get intensely hot from April onward (Hampi in particular has minimal shade), and Goa's monsoon season, roughly June through September, isn't suited to beach time.

How Much Time to Budget

Seven days covers this route, but it's a full seven days — three internal flights plus a road transfer to Hampi. Travelers who prefer a slower pace often extend to nine or ten days, adding a buffer day around the Hampi leg specifically, since that's where transfer times run longest.

What to Pack

Lightweight, breathable clothing works for most of the route, with something slightly more modest for temple visits in Hampi and the Red Fort area (shoulders and knees covered is a safe standard).
